I like having a paper heart,
said the doll to her shadow.
though I’m made of cloth.
It’s better than having one
cast from iron or snipped
from plastic; at least you know
its fragility and you see it all in
its wispy glory. It doesn’t pretend
that it can withstand the burn

from the tears that flow if you go.

after a couple of months in the box, being put together and then forgotten and then pulled apart and then put all back together again and another few weeks before finally being glued together and mounted into its frame (which adds up to more than two years (!!!) before it left the store)...

it's finally u
p! hip hip hooray! (:

THE Puzzle
*clap hands*
thank you dear! (he claims I only did 1/6 of it. I think he's being too generous. :b)

I used 3M velcro to put it up the wall because it's such a hassle to drill and refill drill holes during our paint-job every few years.

me: how many velcros should I put?
tia: it's quite light, just put 3.
me:but my bed is just below. I think I'll put four.
mom: Up to you, but I don't think anythink will happen to it if it drops since the bed is soft anyway. (----note the lack of concern for me. ):)
me: erm, I was thinking about what would happen to me if the frame does drop.
tia: haha! but its quite light.
me: but the pull of gravity would make it weigh heavier.
tia: .........weight IS mass x height. (---i knew that. I was just, erm, testing her)
me: oh. fine. but psychologically I'll feel the pain inproportionally to what it weighs.
(I go on to explain some funny psychological concept about how that works in an attempt to make up for my physics faux pas. which is COMPLETELY made up. but they don't know. ahahaha. :b)
